Conspiracy theorists claim they have spotted an 'alien mothership blasting lasers' at the ISS in new NASA footage

    The footage shows what appears to be a pattern of bright lights above the ISS
    Moments later a red beam of light seems to pulse from the object toward it

    Some have suggested it could be a weapon, teleportation, or data transfer
    Other explanations include lens flare or a reflection from the station's windows
